The Toney family from Corcoran, Calif., hosted a family union in the summer of 1981. The Hanford Sentinel printed a story with my photos on Sept. 10, 1981. These are the “outtakes,” or the photos the paper didn't have room to print. They tell the rest of the story. About 80 people attended.
Bobby Toney is now a member of the Corcoran School board. I sent Mr. Toney the photos in eary 2020 knowing that many in this montage have passed away. Mr. Toney told me that even many of the young ones are gone now. It’s part of life. It has been 39 years.
I hope they can celebrate again in 2021.
